Learning on the job – the value of internships

We love having interns at Cicero Communications, they always offer fresh ideas and perspective and it’s great seeing them put together a body of work that helps them get a start in their PR career.

Since 2007 we’ve offered internships to third year PR students to work on the Women in Super Mother’s Day Classic (national breast cancer research event), helping them practice the skills they’ve learnt at uni and that they will need in the real world. Some of the organisations they’ve gone on to find jobs with include Etihad Airways, Rio Tinto, Compass Communications and Golf World.
